Profile

Tinglobal Ltd is a private company, owned & managed by its directors. Its main assets are the ownership of 100% of its trading companies: Tindirect Ltd and Powercore International Ltd. The Group is a profitable and cash generative business engaged principally in the European business-to-business market for refurbished and reconfigured mid range computer equipment including servers, storage, associated networking infrastructure, parts and services. The Group has a strong corporate identity and with 95% of sales relating to refurbished or reconditioned equipment has excellent green credentials.

Objectives

Our medium term business objectives for the Group can be summarised as - -
  1. To be acknowledged as Europe's leading supplier of mid-range refurbished computer and networking hardware to end-user focused sales organisations.
  2. To differentiate ourselves from our competition by deploying an offering with highly integrated technical, engineering and logistics skills.
  3. To promote the green benefits of our proposition, using our expertise to provide services founded on the principles of reuse and sustainability.
  4. To widen our product offering to ensure that we are the first choice supplier to the major trade participants and to deliver 100% first time service to all our customers.
  5. To provide a stimulating, challenging and rewarding environment for our workforce who in turn acknowledge that they all have an equal role to play in the future of the company.
  6. To be a well managed, profitable, productive and environmentally committed company conscious of our responsibilities to all our stakeholders, upholding the highest ethics in all areas.

Strategy

The Group’s strategy is to grow the core business based around our expertise in product specialisations by investing in a focused set of business development initiatives; increasing the geographical spread of business by deploying more language skills in our sales team, increasing sales staff numbers, promoting our sales, supply & distribution capability to manufacturers and trade participants and developing a greater volume of service based recurring revenues.

We will execute our strategy by selling only into the trade environment-so preserving our integrity and impartiality is therefore key to our success. Our optimum position is to have good contact with all the participants in the market, growing the value of the business with each client and the number of significant customers we trade with, but providing the same high quality service to all of our customers, irrespective of size. In summary our aspiration is to be acknowledged as Europe's leading supplier to end-user focused sales organisations.
